Product information notice

All product descriptions, specifications, grades, packaging options, capacities, tolerances and lead times shown on this website are indicative only and subject to confirmation at contract stage. Agricultural commodities are natural products and vary by harvest, region and season. Binding specifications are those set out in the signed contract or sales confirmation for your order.

1. General information only

The content of www.ibsagro.co.tz is published by IBS Agro Trading Limited for general information about our business, our commodity range and the services we offer. It is prepared in good faith and reviewed periodically, but we make no representation or warranty that it is accurate, complete or current at any given moment.

You should not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of anything published here without confirming the position with us in writing for your specific requirement.

2. Product information and specifications

This section applies to every commodity, grade and service described on this website.

  • Specifications are indicative. Moisture content, purity, admixture, broken percentage, defect and foreign-matter tolerances, colour, size, grade names, protein or oil content and any similar figure shown on this website are typical ranges for the commodity concerned. They are not a warranty for any particular consignment.
  • Natural variation is inherent. Agricultural commodities vary between harvests, growing regions, seasons and lots. Two consignments of the same commodity can legitimately differ within the agreed tolerances.
  • Binding terms come from the contract. The specification that governs your purchase is the one recorded in the signed contract, sales confirmation or accepted purchase order — including the agreed tolerances, the inspection method, the point of inspection and the certificate that determines quality.
  • Packaging and labelling. Pack sizes, bag types, printing and labelling shown here are options; what is supplied is what is confirmed in the contract, and must also comply with the labelling rules of the destination market.
  • Capacities and lead times. Volumes, processing capacities, shipment schedules and lead times are estimates based on normal operating conditions and existing commitments. They are confirmed only on order acceptance.
  • Suitability is the buyer’s responsibility. Buyers are responsible for satisfying themselves that a commodity, its specification and its packaging meet their intended use and the import, food-safety, phytosanitary and labelling requirements of the destination market.

If a description on this website conflicts with a quotation, contract or sales confirmation, the quotation, contract or sales confirmation prevails.

3. Images and illustrations

Photographs, illustrations, icons and packaging images on this website are for illustration only. They may show a representative sample, a stock image, an earlier crop or an illustrative packaging design, and they may not depict the exact appearance, grade, colour or pack of the product supplied to you.

4. Availability, seasonality and origin

Listing a commodity on this website does not mean it is in stock, in season or available for immediate shipment. Availability depends on the harvest calendar, crop performance, weather, market conditions and existing commitments. Regions and origins mentioned indicate where we typically source a commodity, not a guarantee that any particular consignment will originate there; origin is confirmed contractually and evidenced by the documents issued for the shipment.

5. Quality, grading and inspection

Descriptions of our cleaning, sorting, grading, testing, storage and inspection practices describe how we normally work. They are not a certification, an accreditation, or a guarantee of a particular result for any consignment.

Where a certificate, inspection or analysis is required, it must be specified in the contract together with the appointed inspection body and the stage at which it is carried out. Buyers are always free to appoint an independent inspector at their own cost.

We do not claim any certification, membership or approval on this website unless the company holds current documentary evidence of it, which is available to counterparties on request.

6. Prices and quotations

No prices are published on this website. Any price, freight figure or indicative cost given in correspondence is valid only for the period and on the terms stated, and is subject to commodity market movement, freight rates, currency movement, availability and final confirmation.

7. Forward-looking statements

Statements about expected harvests, planned capacity, intended market entry, sustainability goals or future development reflect current intentions and expectations. They involve assumptions and factors outside our control and should not be read as promises or commitments.

8. External links and third-party content

This website may link to, or reproduce information from, third parties such as market reports, industry bodies, logistics providers or government agencies. We do not control that content, do not endorse it by linking to it, and accept no responsibility for its accuracy or availability.

9. No professional advice

Nothing on this website constitutes legal, regulatory, tax, financial, insurance, agronomic or food-safety advice, and it is not an offer, solicitation or recommendation to enter into any transaction. Take your own professional advice before making a commercial decision.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the applicable law, and except for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, IBS Agro Trading Limited accepts no liability for any loss or damage — including loss of profit, business, contracts or goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss — arising from reliance on information published on this website. Our liability in respect of goods or services actually supplied is governed by the contract for that supply and by our Terms & Conditions.
