Route and transit

Consignments to Mauritius move by sea from the Port of Dar es Salaam. Fresh produce can move by airfreight instead where the shelf life requires it, and the two are priced separately.

Mauritius imports most of its food, and volumes per consignment are smaller than a mainland market would take — a part-container or a consolidated load is often the right shape. Say what quantity you actually need rather than rounding up to a full container, and we will quote the loading that fits it.

Ports, airports and border posts for Mauritius

  • Port Louis
  • Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU)

The gateways a buyer may nominate for this destination. The one your consignment uses is the one you name in your enquiry — we quote against your delivery point, not a default.
