Logistics Coordination
Between the store and the buyer sit trucks, containers, terminals and vessels. Coordinating them is what turns an available consignment into a delivered one.
Overview
Most delays in agricultural trade are coordination failures rather than transport failures: a container booked before the lot was ready, a truck arriving at a terminal after cut-off, documents following the goods instead of preceding them.
The company plans the movement backwards from the date the buyer needs the goods — booking, cut-off, terminal delivery, inland transport, loading and stock release — so each step has a date that the one before it can be held to.
Movements are tracked and the buyer is told where the consignment is and when it is expected. Where something slips, it is reported when it is known rather than when it becomes unavoidable.

Who this service is for
How it works
The sequence below is followed on every consignment, and each step is recorded so the consignment can be reconstructed afterwards.
Plan backwards
The required delivery date is fixed and every preceding step is dated back from it, including a margin for the port cut-off.
Book
Transport and, for export, container and vessel space are booked against the plan, and the booking is confirmed in writing.
Load
Stock is released, loaded and, where containerised, stuffed and sealed under supervision, with the load recorded.
Move and deliver
Inland transport runs to the terminal or the buyer's premises within the agreed window, and delivery is confirmed.
Track and report
The consignment is tracked to destination and the buyer receives status updates, including prompt notice of any change.
